Lorraine is a practicing artist with a wealth of teaching experience covering a wide range of age and abilities.
She taught GCSE and A Level Art and Design at Secondary School Level, and most recently teaches as an Artist-in-Residence in Primary Schools where she set up exciting Art Workshops in ceramics, printmaking, batik, painting, drawing and sculpture, for the children, parents and the teaching staff.

Lorraine has a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art, Painting and Drawing at College of Art and Design, University of Ulster, Belfast, and a PGCE in Secondary Art Teaching at Goldsmiths College, London.

Lorraine has been teaching assistant at Artescape for 8 years.
